Technology company Meta<\/a> has poached Apple<\/a>‘s VP of human interface design Alan Dye to head up a creative studio that will focus on elevating design within the company.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the creation of the new design studio that will “define the next generation of our products” in a post on Threads last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Today we’re establishing a new creative studio in Reality Labs led by Alan Dye, who has spent nearly 20 years leading design at Apple,” he said.<\/p>\n

“The new studio will bring together design, fashion, and technology to define the next generation of our products and experiences.”<\/p>\n

Chance “to invent an entirely new design language”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The studio will be led by Apple’s head of user interface design Dye, who recently led the development of Liquid Glass<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Dye, Meta will be creating a design studio that will lead the development of both hardware and software.<\/p>\n

“I’m stepping into a new role focused on the future of intelligent products and experiences,” said Dye in a post on LinkedIn<\/a>.<\/p>\n
